Catherine Vinh
Catherine Vinh is an Associate Attorney in the firm's bankruptcy department, representing financial institutions in federal and state court matters. Prior to joining the Pite Duncan, LLP, Ms. Vinh served as a Judicial Extern to Honorable Catherine Bauer, United States Bankruptcy Judge, Central District of California. Additionally, Ms. Vinh had worked for a consumer bankruptcy law firm and was a summer associate for a commercial litigation and insurance defense law firm.
Ms. Vinh received her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she earned the USD Academic Achievement Scholarship, the highest grade in Jurisprudence Seminar, and memberships into San Diego Law Review and the USD Mock Trial Team. During law school, Ms. Vinh was a Land Use and Public Policy intern for the Office of Mayor Jerry Sanders, San Diego, California. She was a law clerk for the Public Law Center in Orange County, where she focused primarily on consumer law and fair debt collection practices.
Ms. Vinh received B.A. in Communication Studies, cum laude, with double minors in Political Science and Asian-American Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles, California. She earned UCLA College Honors and was admitted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Alpha Lamda Delta and Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Fraternities. Ms. Vinh is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and the National Society of Asian American Professionals. Ms. Vinh is admitted to practice in all California state courts and in all federal district courts in California.
